About Us
Dispatch Center
911 Public Safety answering point for Jefferson County and dispatch center for 54 county agencies. Featuring five consoles, twelve 911 trunk lines, and a state of the art 800 mHz radio system including a connection with the State of Ohio MARCS system.
Mobile Communications Unit
Provides on scene command and control resources for county response agencies at major incidents and includes extensive radio, satellite, and wireless equipment.
Emergency Operations Center
Command center for major and long term emergency operations involving Emergency Management, local officials, and State and Federal agencies.
Don't be in the dark in an emergency. When seconds count, we will notify you through our Hyper-Reach Emergency Alert System of urgent situations, such as Amber Alerts, emergency evacuations, crime alerts or other important information about the area where you live. All landline phones in the 9-1-1 system are automatically in our Hyper-Reach database and will be dialed in an emergency.
